The opening day of CSIO Barcelona concluded with a brilliant win for Esther Modroño in the Fuze Tea Trophy. The Galician rider, aboard Quibus van de Klothoef, produced the fastest clear in the second phase of the two-phase special, stopping the clock in 34.73 seconds.
Home rider Álvaro Zambrano, representing RC Polo with Tikal DZ, took the runner-up spot with a time of 36.26 seconds, while France’s Marie Agathe Reznikoff rounded off the podium in 38.73 seconds with Cesario de Kreisker.
