The Real Club de Polo de Barcelona today hosted the official presentation of the CSIO Barcelona 2025 poster, an event that each year marks the beginning of the countdown to the most outstanding international equestrian competition, which will take place from October 2 to 5. This year, the visual identity of the event has been created by illustrator Pietari Posti, whose artwork captures the elegance, energy, and sophistication of show jumping in a vibrant and stylized composition.
For several editions now, CSIO Barcelona has collaborated with illustrators connected to the local creative scene, giving each edition a unique artistic identity. This strategy has proven to be a great success, offering a creative perspective that blends tradition, modernity, and graphic sensitivity.
“It has been an honor to be part of this project. I wanted to convey the intensity of the jump with dynamic lines and a vivid color palette that expresses the excitement of the competition,” said Pietari Posti during the presentation.
The event also served to announce a new addition to the organizing team: international rider Sira Martínez, who joins as the new ambassador of CSIO Barcelona, bringing her experience as an elite international athlete.
Luis Comas, president of the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona Foundation, emphasized the importance of having figures like Sira Martínez involved: “She represents the core values of the competition: effort, commitment, and passion for sport. She’s a role model both inside and outside the arena.” Comas also expressed his gratitude to Pietari Posti for his contribution to the image of this year’s edition: “His poster perfectly captures the spirit of CSIO Barcelona. It’s a piece that conveys movement, elegance, and emotion.”
Also present at the event were Santi Mercé, CSIO Barcelona president, and Daniel Garcia Giró, CSIO Barcelona director, who accompanied the artist and the new ambassador in this symbolic kickoff to a new edition that promises thrilling emotions and top-level organization.
