The International Equestrian Federation (FEI) has announced the names of the riders who will represent their nations at the Longines Nations Cup™ Final 2025, to be held from 2 to 5 October at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona.
The teams had already been confirmed after the four qualifying legs of the Series, and now the athletes who will defend their countries’ colours in the most prestigious team competition on the international Jumping calendar are known. Defending champions Germany will attempt to retain the title against seven strong contenders.
The participating teams and their members are:
– France: Antoine Ermann, Mégane Moissonnier, Olivier Perreau, Olivier Robert, Kevin Staut
– Great Britain: Ben Maher, Harry Charles, Scott Brash, Donald Whitaker, Adrian Whiteway
– Germany: Sandra Auffarth, Marcus Ehning, Sophie Hinners, Christian Kukuk, Richard Vogel
– Belgium: Nicola Philippaerts, Thibeau Spits, Gilles Thomas, Gregory Wathelet
– Ireland: Bertram Allen, Trevor Breen, Neal Fearon, Michael Pender, Billy Twomey
– Italy: Piergiorgio Bucci, Emanuele Camilli, Giacomo Casadei, Giulia Martinengo Marquet, Paolo Paini
– United States: Karl Cook, Laura Kraut, Alex Matz, Callie Schott, Alessandra Volpi
– The Netherlands: Willem Greve, Bas Moerings, Johnny Pals, Frank Schuttert, Sanne Thijssen.
As host nation, Spain will also be represented in this prestigious Final by: Mariano Martínez Bastida, Santiago Núñez Riva, Imma Roquet Autonell, Iván Serrano Sáez and Armando Trapote.
The Longines Nations Cup™ Final will once again establish Barcelona as the world capital of equestrian Jumping, offering four days of top-level sport featuring the very best horses and riders.
