Barcelona Global Sports continues to strengthen its role as a meeting point for the city’s leading sporting events. The Spanish Grand Prix of Formula 1, the Catalan Grand Prix of MotoGP, the Trofeo de Tenis Conde de Godó, the Trofeo de Vela Conde de Godó, the Barcelona Marathon and CSIO Barcelona are shaping a shared vision aimed at strengthening their impact and projection.
At the working session held on 19 February at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, representatives of the city’s recurring sporting events highlighted the importance of moving forward in a coordinated way to align strategies and generate synergies in key areas, with the aim of strengthening Barcelona’s position as a host of major international events.
This joint effort focuses on structuring and strengthening collaboration among the different stakeholders, as well as establishing a shared positioning that reflects the weight and relevance of these events within Barcelona’s sporting and economic ecosystem.
Looking ahead to the coming months, the entities involved will continue working on the development of the project, which will hold its next meeting on 27 May with the second edition of Barcelona Global Sports, where this line of work will continue.
