Barcelona Global Sports has launched the preparatory work for its second edition, which will take place in June 2026, with the aim of further consolidating this forum for reflection and debate around the major sporting events held in the city. Following the success of the first edition, held in 2025 at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, the initiative promoted by CSIO Barcelona enters a new phase, seeking to strengthen Barcelona’s positioning as a global capital of sport.
In this context, a working session with the technical teams of the city’s main sporting events will be held next February. This meeting will provide an opportunity to share experiences, exchange perspectives, and jointly define the strategic challenges that will shape the programme of Barcelona Global Sports 2026.
With this new edition, Barcelona Global Sports aims to continue fostering cooperation among institutions and event organizers, highlighting the city’s rich multisport ecosystem and contributing to the creation of a strong, shared legacy for the major sporting events that take place in Barcelona throughout the year.
