The twelfth edition of the obstacle design competition “A Jump for the City” reached a new milestone this week with the official presentation of the proposals created by students from Eina, University Centre of Design and Art of Barcelona.
The session, held at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, gave students the opportunity to present and explain their projects, conceived to become part of the courses at CSIO Barcelona and the Longines League of Nations™ Final, once again integrating into the international sporting stage of the club’s Olympic arena.
The jury responsible for evaluating the proposals included Ester Ollé, Head of Communications and Press at Institut Barcelona Esports of Barcelona City Council; Alejandro Teodoro, Sponsorship and Communications Director at La Vanguardia; Pablo Sánchez Marquegui, President of the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona; Lluís Comas, President of the RCPB Foundation; Santi Mercé, President of CSIO Barcelona; Daniel Garcia Giró, Director of CSIO Barcelona; Elena Boix and Santiago Varela, international course designers; as well as Javier Nieto Cubero, Deputy Director of Eina, and Jordi Esteve, product designer and coordinating professor for students participating in the Bachelor’s Degree in Design
The initiative therefore continues to strengthen its objective of connecting sport, creativity and the city through the design of an obstacle inspired by Barcelona, consolidating its position as one of the most distinctive and representative projects of CSIO Barcelona, while also reinforcing its commitment to emerging talent and collaboration with leading institutions from the creative and academic sectors.
