The FEI<\/strong> has announced the nations set to compete in the second edition of the Longines League of Nations\u2122<\/strong>. The world’s top 10 teams will vie for the title at the final, scheduled from October 2 to 5, 2025, at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona\u2014the most prestigious and historic team show jumping competition globally.<\/p>

For the second consecutive year, nine leading nations have secured their spots for the 2025 edition: Ireland, France, the United States, Great Britain, Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Sweden, and the reigning champions, Germany, who earned their place by winning the 2024 Longines League of Nations\u2122 Final.<\/p>

Notably, Italy has returned to the competition’s elite, clinching the tenth position in the rankings and thereby displacing Brazil from the top 10. Canada narrowly missed qualification, finishing eleventh, just 633 points behind, after an intense battle over several months.<\/p>

Marco Di Paola, President of the Italian Equestrian Sports Federation (FISE), expressed his satisfaction with Italy’s qualification, highlighting it as a significant achievement that elevates the country back to the highest level of international equestrian sport.<\/p>

The 2025 Longines League of Nations\u2122<\/strong> will feature four qualifying events, with only the top eight teams advancing to the grand final in Barcelona.
